Supportive Housing & Services
Cincinnati, OH
Project Summary
Joseph House Recovery for Veterans is a $9.3 million, purpose-built recovery facility located in Cincinnati’s Camp Washington neighborhood. This three-story, 24,000-square-foot development offers 58 clinical bedrooms and is the region’s first inpatient recovery center built specifically for both male and female U.S. military veterans.
The fully accessible facility was thoughtfully designed to promote healing with dignity. It features private rooms, therapy and wellness spaces, communal lounges, and administrative offices, all centered on recovery. Veterans access comprehensive treatment on-site, including inpatient sober housing, outpatient therapy, aftercare services, and family support.
Model Group oversaw the full development process, ensuring compliance with rigorous standards and timely delivery. Today, the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services–certified center expands Joseph House’s capacity to serve nearly 100 veterans at a time. This project reflects Model Group’s mission to build places that restore hope and strengthen communities—here, by honoring those who have served with spaces of healing and possibility.
