Project Summary
The CityLink expansion, developed by the Model Group, was a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing the local workforce and community.
CityLink helps clients break the cycle of poverty and prepare for employment by assisting with job search, resume development, the electronic application process, and mock interviews.
The project included several key components, such as ChangingGears' expanded facility, which allowed for more vehicle preparations and launched an automotive technician training program to address the need for skilled professionals. Cornerstone Construction created dedicated space for training individuals in industrial construction, while Learning Grove established classrooms for early learning and childcare services, benefiting both CityLink parents and the broader community. Additionally, the Healthcare Training facility expanded its offerings to include Phlebotomy, Medical Assisting, and Patient Care Assisting programs, helping prepare individuals for careers in healthcare. The project also transformed a gravel lot into an Outdoor Learning and Activity Space, providing a versatile educational environment.
