Project Summary

Model Group led the expansion of CityLink Center to amplify its mission of breaking cycles of poverty through workforce and family support. The $5 million project added training and service capacity across multiple industries, directly serving an additional 300 individuals per year.

Highlights include the expansion of ChangingGears’ facility for vehicle preparation and an automotive technician training program, new industrial construction training space by Cornerstone Construction, and Learning Grove classrooms for early childhood education. A new healthcare training center introduced programs in phlebotomy, medical assisting, and patient care, preparing participants for stable careers. In addition, an outdoor learning and activity space was developed from a gravel lot, creating new opportunities for education and community engagement.

Through this work, Model Group helped strengthen CityLink’s role as a catalyst for economic mobility, ensuring more individuals and families can access resources that lead to long-term independence.
